Two soldiers were martyred and 11 terrorists were killed during an intelligence -based operation (IBO) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district in Waziristan, the military media wing said Tuesday.
According to a statement of public relations between services (ISPR), “on June 24, 2025, the Security Forces made an IBO in the general area Saragha, South Wazirist district, on [the] reported presence of Khwarij belonging to the Indian Indian, Fitna-al-Khwarij.“
In July last year, the government appointed the forbidden Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as Fitna-al-Khawarijwhile ordering all institutions that use the term Khariji (marginalized) When referring to the perpetrators of terrorist attacks against Pakistan
The statement said the troops effectively compromised the location of the terrorists and “11 sponsored Indians Khwarij They were sent to hell, while seven Khwarij He was injured. “
“However, during the intense fire exchange, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah (Age: 37 years, resident of the Chakwal district), a brave officer who led his troops from the front, fought bravely and paid the last sacrifice along with another brave son of the Naik Jibran Ullah floor (age: 27 years, resident of the Bannu district),” he added.
The ISPR said that the major Moiz was known for “its courage and its daring actions in numerous operations carried out against the Khwarij“
“Disinfecting operations are being carried out to eliminate any other Khariji sponsored by the Indians found in the area, since Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country’s Indians, and such sacrifices of our brave men even more strengthen our resolution,” added the ISPR.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to martyred soldiers to fight against the enemy during the operation.
“Major Syed Moiz Abbas and Lance Naik Jibranullah sacrificed their lives for the future insurance of the Nation. They are true heroes that frustrated the malicious plans of the terrorists backed by India and eliminated 11 militants,” Naqvi said in a statement.
The Interior Minister added that “these martyrs gave their lives to deliver a strong message to the enemy and are a proud example of courage for the nation. His heroic sacrifice will always be remembered by people.”
Earlier this month, five terrorists were killed during operations in the districts of KP of Peshawar and Waziristan del Norte, and the army described them “sponsored by India.”
The general director of the ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, had also accused India of activating his “assets” to intensify terrorist attacks in Pakistan, presenting “irrefutable evidence” of terrorism sponsored by the Indian state, led by Indian military personnel.
“Post-pahalgam, due to the terrorism designs they have, commissioned all their assets, the terrorists operating in Baluchistan, and we have credible intelligence for that, the fitna-al-khawarij and independent terrorist cells … to increase their activity,” he said.
Pakistan has witnessed an increase in terrorist activities, especially in KP and Baluchistan, after the TTP ended its fire with the government in November 2022.
