Two tourists dead as car plunges into ravine in KP’s Kaghan: rescue – Pakistan

At least two people died in an accident on Tuesday after his car immersed himself in a ravine in the Kayber Pakhtunkhwa Kaghan area, rescue officials said.

Fatal accidents are common on roads in the mountainous regions of the country due to violations of traffic rules, treacherous land and poor infrastructure.

Mansehra Rescue 1122 spokesman Amir Khadam said: “A car with three family members on board fell into a ravine, which resulted in the couple’s death,” and added that the three -year -old son remained safe in the incident.

He said the family had come to Kaghan from the Punjab district for a picnic.

“The local people and rescue teams arrived at the scene as soon as the incident was reported, Khadam said.” The bodies were recovered from the car and immediately took the Kaghan Rural Health Center for first aid. “

He added that the bodies were sent to their native hazro area in the Attock district.

On March 5, three employees of a Chinese company working in the DASU hydroelectric project were killed when a truck immersed itself in the Indo River in the upper district of Kohistan.

Last month, eight family members died when a Suzuki car bound for Rawalpindi immersed himself in a deep ravine in the Matta Band of the KP district of KP.
