Police have registered a first information report (FIR) in the case of a 14 -year -old girl with mental and physical disabilities that supposedly assaults sexually in the Punjab Hafizabad district.

In the first six months of 2024, 862 cases of child sexual abuse, 668 cases of kidnapping, 82 cases of missing children and 18 cases of children’s marriages. There were also 48 cases of pornography after sexual abuse.
The victim was taken to the hospital due to her state of health, where, during a medical check -up, it was discovered that she had six months pregnant.
The victim’s family filed an action application on Saturday at the Hafizabad Police Station, in which case the number 1152/25 was formally recorded on Sunday under section 376 (3) (who commits a violation of a person or a person with mental or physical disabilities, will be punished with death or imprisonment for life and well) of the Pakistan Criminal Code.
Rana Sultan Mahmood has been appointed as a plaintiff in the FIR.
The victim is a child with congenital disabilities, unable to speak, listen or walk, and is also mentally immature and unconscious. Their parents declared in the FIR that they belonged to a poor and illiterate family and could not learn about the incident due to their daughter’s physical condition.
The incident research revealed that the suspect allegedly found the girl alone in the Hussainabad neighborhood six months ago and sexually assaulted her. After the incident, he hid.
The Hafizabad District Police officer (DPO) Atif Nazir Kadhar has taken an immediate notice of the incident and ordered the DSP City Circle to present a report. The DPO has also issued instructions for the immediate arrest of the suspect.
According to police officers, the defendant will be arrested in the next 48 hours, while the victim’s family receives full protection.
In May, the Police said they had arrested four suspects involved in an alleged group violation of a minor with care mentally in Lahore earlier this month.
Also last month, a Master of Madrassah in the Punjab Muzaffarhh district was arrested for allegedly violating an 11 -year -old student in a seminar.
