Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered all the relevant authorities to provide all possible assists for the return and safe protection of Zaireen Pakistani currently in Iran after the mortal strikes of Israel.
Israel launched attacks on the panorama scale against Iran today, saying that it went to nuclear facilities, ballistic missile factories and military commanders and that this was the beginning of a “prolonged operation to prevent Tehran from building an atomic weapon.”
Iran promised a hard response and Israel said he was working to intercept around 100 drones launched into the Israeli territory in retaliation.
In the light of the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz, a crisis management cell has been established in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to monitor the situation and coordinate efforts.
The Pakistani embassy in Iran has also received instructions to remain attentive and actively help pilgrims. Today early, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, shared the direct line number of the Embassy: (0098) -216941388.
The prime minister emphasized that immediate and effective measures must be taken to guarantee the safety of all Pakistani citizens in Iran. In addition, he instructed that all the resources available to facilitate their safe and fast return to Pakistan.
He directed that until the regional situation is normalized, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Pakistani diplomatic mission in Iran will remain on a maximum alert, ensuring continuous support and communication with the pilgrims.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FO) also advised all the Zaireen of Pakistan to reconsider their travel plans to Iran and Iraq in view of the evolutionary security situation in the region.
Pakistan was among several countries and international actors who condemned Israel’s attacks, and the FO called it “unjustified and illegitimate aggression by Israel.”
“Israeli military attacks violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran and clearly contravene the UN letter and the fundamental principles of international law. Iran has the right to self -defense under article 51 of the UN Charter,” said Fo Shafqat Ali Khan in a statement.
He said that Pakistan was in “resolved solidarity” with the people of Iran and unequivocally denounced these shameless provocations, which constituted a serious danger and a serious threat to the peace, security and stability of the entire region and beyond, with serious implications.
The spokesman said that the international community and the UN had the responsibility of defending international law, stopping this aggression immediately and holding the aggressor for their actions.
President Asif Ali Zardari called Israeli’s military strikes “a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran”, while Prime Minister Shehbaz said that “this serious and highly irresponsible act is deeply alarming and runs the risk of further destabilizing an already volatile region.”
