A great Russian attack of drones and missiles went to the eastern city of Jharkiv in Ukraine on Saturday, killing at least three people and wounding 21, local Ukrainian officials said.
The Russian bombing, the last in attacks of almost daily panoramic scale of Moscow, included mortal air slide pumps that have become part of fierce Russian attacks in the three -year war.
The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, said the attack also damaged 18 apartment buildings and 13 private houses. Citing preliminary data, he said that Russia used 48 Shahed drones, two missiles and four air sliding pumps in the attack.
The intensity of Russian attacks against Ukraine in recent weeks has further decreased the hopes that the parties at war can reach a peace agreement in the days soon, especially after kyiv recently embarrassed the Kremlin with a surprising drone attack in deep military airfields within Russia.
The president of the United States, Donald Trump, said this week that his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, told him that Moscow would respond to Ukraine attack on Sunday at Russian military airfields.
On Friday, Russian strikes reached six Ukrainian territories, and killed at least six people and wounding about 80, Ukrainian officials said. Among the dead were three emergency responders in kyiv, one person in Lutsk and two people in Chernihiv.
Trump also said it could be better to let Ukraine and Russia “fight for a while” before separating them and follow peace. Trump’s comments were a remarkable diversion of his appeals often declared to stop the war and pointed out that he could be renouncing the recent peace efforts.
