Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Wednesday, along with the presidents of Turkiye and Azerbaijan, he had met at a trilateral summit to “reject the conflict.”

“There can be no greater commitment and intention to overcome this threat to all time, and in that, if India wants with all sincerity, honest cooperation, Pakistan would be willing, together with the promotion of trade with India. All these problems must be discussed at the table.”

“In the unpredictable and volatile world of today, political security, architectures, connectivity, alignments and emerging technologies are shaping the new reality. In such a situation, Pakistan is very lucky to have sincere brothers such as Turkiye and Azerbaijan who have remained together with us as impregnable rocks and who can trust without a second thought.”

Reiterating his gratitude to Erdogan and Aliyev for his diplomatic support during the recent conflict with India, which “was obviously very serious.” “It was an aggression of India against Pakistan without rhyme or reason.”

“This would not be a surprise for anyone like Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Turkiye are united by deep historical, cultural and spiritual ties forged through centuries of shared values ​​and mutual support,” he said.

“This historical relationship has strengthened even more as we have supported ourselves, either in Karabakh, Kashmir or Turkish Cyprus of the North. Our strength lies in our solidarity and mutual respect.”

He pointed out that India “not only could not bring any credible evidence against Pakistan, but also rejected our sincere and generous offer of a neutral and transparent investigation into the so -called Pahalgam incident by any international organism.”
