Harvey Weinstein accuser Miriam Haley storms out of court after cursing at mogul’s lawyer on stand

The former production assistant of “Project Runway”, Miriam Haley, left Friday from a New York Criminal Chamber, moments after breaking and curse on the stand during her fourth day in the new trial of Harvey Weinstein’s sexual crimes.

Haley, 48, was about 30 minutes in her testimony when Weinstein’s lawyer Jennifer Bonjean began to roast her in what she had the night she alleges that Weinstein did her oral sex at her home in Soho in July 2006. She had previously testified that, weeks later, Weinstein raped her in a Host Hotel room.

“I took off my clothes … I didn’t take off my clothes,” Haley testified about the apartment incident. “He was the one who raped me, not on the other side.”

“That is for the jury to decide,” Bonjean replied, climbing the exchange.

When the tears began to run on his face, Haley emphasized that it was his experience and shouted: “Don’t tell me that I was not raped, so f — in a hole!”

The outbreak led Haley to request a break, that Judge Curtis Farber allowed. The jurors were sent outside the court room for a recess of 10 minutes before Haley quickly went out a side door.

When the Court resumed Friday afternoon, Haley was not crying since they bond once again began to interrogate her about the clothes she was wearing and how they were removed.

“I didn’t take off my clothes,” she replied. “I was in my period … I didn’t take off my clothes.”

This is the second time that Haley faces Weinstein in a criminal court. In 2020, Haley testified in Weinstein’s first trial, which resulted in an emblematic sentence of 2020 that was revoked last year.

“He put his mouth in my vagina, before and after taking out the buffer, he put his mouth on my vagina hard,” Haley testified earlier this week on the 2006 meeting. “I was deadly, I was embarrassed, disbelief.”

Weinstein, 73, declared herself innocent of a position to participate in a criminal sexual act in relation to Haley’s accusations that she did oral sex in 2006. He is also accused of a third degree in relation to a supposed actress Jessica Mann, which is expected to testify, in 2013.

He also faces a position in relation to the supposed assault of 2006 of a former Polish model called Kaja Sokola, who is expected to testify.

“I knew how addictive Hollywood’s dreams were,” said Assistant District Prosecutor Shannon Lucey during the opening statements, claiming that Weinstein used his power to attract young women. “I knew how the promises of success worked.”

Weinstein has denied all accusations, and his lawyers argued that sexual encounters with the accusers were all “transactional” and “consensual”.
