The conversations at the delegation between Pakistan and the EAU concluded on Monday, with both the nations signing and exchanging comprehension memorandes (MOU), according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FO).
Pakistan and Eau share close diplomatic, economic and cultural ties. The EAU is one of Pakistan’s largest commercial partners in the Middle East and an important source of remittances, with a large population of Pakistani expatriates who live and work there.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al Nahyan … “signed the MOU and the establishment of [a] Joint Committee for Consular Affairs, ”the FO wrote in a publication about X.
These documents aimed to strengthen ties between citizens and businessmen of both nations, FO added.
“The attachments and foreign ministers also witnessed the exchange of Mous for the establishment of the Joint Business Council of the EAU-PAKISTAN,” said the position.
Early today, Nahyan said that the ties with Pakistan were growing at a “good rhythm” while he and giving their meeting.
In a joint press conference with Dar, the visiting official said that the EAU wanted to develop the relationship with Pakistan further, and added that “a good rhythm was already growing.”
“I think both leaders – [and] The people of Pakistan and the EAU: they want to see more development in the relationship, and I want to emphasize than in the last year or two, things have moved faster than for a while, ”he said.
“And I really hope that good spirit would continue in so many different sectors, if it is trade, investment and aviation,” he added.
Meanwhile, given the official, and added that the two countries had “old fraternal relations and shared commitments and love and affection” for others.

Dar and Sheikh Abdullah also signed three comprehension memoranda (Mous), state -owned Pakistan radio reported.
According to the report, two of the Mous were for cooperation in the field of culture and the establishment of a joint committee for consular issues.
The third Mou was signed between the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the EAU and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan for the establishment of the Joint Business Council of the EAU-PAKISTAN.
Sheikh Abdullah arrived in Pakistan on Sunday night for an official two -day visit, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FO) in a statement.
The Fo had said that the visit “would even cement … the long data of Pakistan-Uae and contribute to deepen the bilateral commitments in various fields, benefiting the peoples of both countries.”
