HBL PSL 2025: Peshawar Zalmi kick-start campaign with crushing win against Multan Sultans – Sport

Rawalpindi: Peshawar Zalmi rediscovered his mojo, despite the fight of the Babar Azam pattern for the form in this season of the Pakistan HBL Super League, while it was bad to worse for fine sultans.

Montaging in the blunt batting of the best and middle order batters, Zalmi began his campaign with a 120 -gift victory on the sultans here at the Cricket Rawalpindi stadium.

From 5-2 at the beginning of his tickets, Zalmi showed incredible recovery powers to publish an imposing 227-7 after choosing hit thanks to the excellent blows of Mohammad Haris (45), Tom Kohhler-Cadmore (52) and Hussain Talat (37) halfway through their tickets before Mitchell Owen and Abdul Samad Late Flourish.

The pursuit of fine was unbelievable thanks to a brilliant spell of rapid bowling of Ali Raza (4-21) and were wrapped for 107 in 16, a marked contrast with how they began the game.

Zalmi had also lost his first two games and had the worst possible beginning: Michael Bracewell hit the top of the Saim Ayub opener; The Tintado and Babar was caught by David Willey. After a duck and one in the first two games, he could only handle two and burned a review in the process.

But Haris got off with a first ball and Zalmi launched himself in Bracwell’s second, 21 leaving him with Kohler-Cadmore breaking two six and you hit another.

Each one helped each other in the fifth and Zalmi began to gain impulse.

Haris sent Akif Javed for four consecutive degrees at almost 180 degrees away from each other, before cutting a six and moving a four when Zalmi got 24 of the sixth to finish the PowerPlay in 69-2.

Kohler-Cadmore then broke two Sixes of Usama Mir in the seventh place; Only for Ubaid Shah will end the bombardment of 21 Haris balls that had three six and four in the next.

He stopped the attack, but Zalmi still reached half of his entries in 106-3 with Hussain joining Kohler-Cadmore.

Kohler-Cadmore reached its 50 of 28 balls on day 13, but was soon fired by Bracewell before Iphikhar Ahmed represented Hussain.

But the relief of the Sultans was fleeting when the incoming Owen and Samad were torn in their bowling in the last five overs; Zalmi scoring 83 races.

Owen connected four six and four in his 34 balls of 15 balls before Willey’s Mohammad Rizwan was hidden in the penultimate in the penultimate while Samad broke three six and four limits on a sensational hits 40 races only 14 balls, falling into the final of the entries.

The Sultans began the persecution well and, despite losing the Rizwan pattern (15) in the room after a moment of madness, the delivery of Saim, Shai Hope and Usman Khan from a sun, took them to 61-1 at the end of the Power Play.

But Hope, who made a Run-A-Ball 20, fell shortly after, hiding Arif Yaqoob (3-20) with the incoming Kamran Ghulam, he can not last long before Ali claimed two WICKETS in two balls to reduce the sultans to 84-5.

Michael Bracewell offered a domesticated return capture to Ali, who later unbuttoned Ashton Turner’s carpentry with an Asen Repting before the hopes of the sultans submerged more when Usman left after a 44 of 22 balls with three six and four when he found Saim in the middle of the world of Arif.

Ali got his fourth Wickt when he sent Return Iftikhar and Arif dismissed Usama. Willey and Ubaid delayed the inevitable before Owen chose two five -installing Wickets to finish the contest and send the spiral sultans to their third consecutive defeat.
