A wedding videographer’s encouraging words are being praised by brides across TikTok

The advice of a wedding cameraman for a boyfriend who prepares to see his future girlfriend goes viral, and people call him the PEP talk that every man needs.

Kalli Obray is a 26 -year -old wedding cameraman based in Spanish Fork, Utah. On March 19, before a couple’s wedding in April, he filmed a first glance: an event prior to the wedding that, according to her, has become a popular trend in Utah for couples who hope to avoid a whirlwind of the wedding day and capture intimate moments without being hurried.

Days later, on March 28, he shared a clip of the interaction in Tiktok, which quickly touched a chord.

In the video, you can listen to work and train the boyfriend just before seeing his fiancee.

“There is a rule for this, and it is literally just making it feel like a million dollars,” says worky in the clip. “She doesn’t need you to like, cry. You don’t need to go out with joy. He just wants you to be yourself and make her feel beautiful.”

The words of work and caused positive reactions, with users encouraging her for her breath.

“It is better that my photographer is on my wedding day!” A user intervened. “Lol, I’ll send you this hahaha.”

“That right there made me start crying, and I haven’t even seen the bride yet,” another replied.

In statements to Today.com, work and talked about his advice, rooted in 5 years of experience as a bridal cameraman and owner of Kallico’s videography. She talked about her own awareness of how social networks can amplify the pressure that couples feel before their wedding day.

“There is this expectation of, Oh, my God, I have these cameras pointed to me. I feel so prominent at this time. I feel that I have to react in a certain way when I feel nervous and anxious,” he explains. “In the best way, of course, you are obviously excited, but I feel that there is this expectation in men specifically to respond and react in a certain way, whether it is struck in crying or jumping with joy.”

Worky says that this is why you take a time to restore those expectations.

“My reason to say this was really just to eliminate that pressure to feel that there is an expectation and just remember the main reason why your girlfriend wants to do this,” he continues. “It’s really: one, to feel admired and beautiful, and two, because she loves him and wants to capture her unique reaction to how she looks.”

For work and, the best reaction is the most authentic.

“It is not bad for men to cry or are too excited,” he adds. “It’s about feeling that you have to do that if you are not. It is a good reminder to be yourself and not feel pressure to respond specifically.”

Worky says that starting with that reminder often helps relieve the moment.

“I think focusing men who do that before doing it really, really helps. You can almost, how to see stress, like, relieve a little back,” he adds. “And I start my first aspect that way, and I think it makes a big difference.”
