PRCS releases video of last minutes before Gaza aid workers killed by Israel – World

A video recovered from the cell phone of a humanitarian worker killed in Gaza along with other rescuers shows his final moments, according to the Palestine red average, with clearly marked ambulances and emergency lights flashing as heavy shots explode.

The humanitarian worker was among the 15 members of the humanitarian personnel killed on March 23 in an attack by the Israeli forces, according to the United Nations and the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The Israeli army has said that their soldiers “did not attack at random” any ambulance, insisting that they shot “terrorists” approaching them in “suspicious vehicles.”

The military spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani, said the troops opened fire against vehicles that had no prior authorization of the Israeli authorities and that they turn off the lights.

But the footage published by the Crescent Network on Saturday seems to contradict the claims of the Israeli army, showing ambulances that travel with the lights on and the emergency lights flash.

The six -minute video of 42 seconds, apparently filmed from inside a moving vehicle, captures a red fire truck and ambulances that drive during the night in constant automatic cannons.

The vehicles stop with another on the road, and two uniformed men leave.

In the video, the voices of two doctors are heard, one that says “the vehicle, the vehicle” and another that responds: “It seems to be an accident.”

Seconds later, a shoe volley opens and the screen becomes black.

‘Brutality of the occupation’

The Crescent Network said he had found the video on Rifat Radwan’s phone, one of the murdered humanitarian workers.

“This video unequivocally refutes the claims of the occupation that the Israeli forces did not go randomly ambulances and that some vehicles had suspectedly approached without lights or emergency marks,” he said in a statement.

“The footage exposes the truth and dismantles this false narrative.”

Later, on Saturday, Red Crescent spokesman Nbal Farsakh told journalists that Israeli soldiers “opened frantically and hysterically” in doctors.

“Then we clearly listen to the Specked Hebrew,” Farsakh said, adding that the fate of a doctor, identified only as Assad, was still unknown. “We believe it has been arrested.”

Hamas, in a statement issued on Saturday, described the video as a “condemning evidence of the brutality of the occupation.”

“It also demonstrates a deliberate attempt to cover up the crime by burying the victims in massive tombs and hiding the truth,” said Hamas.

The murdered included eight Red Crescent employees, six members of the Gaza Civil Defense Agency and an UN employee for Palestinian refugees.

Their bodies were found buried near the southernmost city of Rafah de Gaza in what the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (Ocha) described as a massive tomb.

Ocha has said that the first team was the target of the Israeli forces at dawn on March 23. In the hours that followed, the additional rescue teams and help that sought their colleagues were also beaten in a series of attacks.

According to the Red Crescent, the convoy had been sent in response to emergency calls of trapped civilians under Rafah bombing.

Fear and prayers

In the video, you can listen to a doctor who records the scene reciting the Islamic profession of faith, the Shahadathat Muslims traditionally say against death.

“There is no God, but Allah, Muhammad is his messenger,” he says repeatedly, his voice trembling with fear while intense shots continue in the background.

He is also heard saying: “Forgive me mother because I chose in this way, the way to help people.”

Then he says: “Accept my martyrdom, God and forgive me.”

Just before the footage ends, it is heard saying “the Jews come, the Jews come”, referring to the Israeli soldiers.

Seconds later, a male voice is heard in Hebrew without a foreign accent. “Wait, we are coming. We are not responsible, you are responsible,” says La Voz. The identity of the speaker and who is directed is not clear.

The death of humanitarian workers caused an international conviction.

Jonathan Whittall, the head of Ocha in the Palestinian territories, said that the bodies of humanitarian workers were “in their uniforms, which still used gloves” when they were found.

The UN High Human Rights Commissioner, Volker Turk, condemned the attack, saying that he raised concerns about the possible “war crimes” by the Israeli army.

“I am horrified by the recent murders of 15 medical staff and humanitarian workers, which raises more concerns about the War Crimes Commission by the Israeli Army,” Turk told the UN Security Council on Thursday.

An Israeli military official said the bodies had been covered “in sand and cloth” to protect them until arrangements could be made with international organizations for recovery.
