Pakistan set New Zealand 129-run target in final T20 – Sport

A half century of Captain Salman Agha raised Pakistan to 128-9 in the fifth and last Twenty20 against New Zealand in Wellington on Wednesday.

Salman was finally fired in the penultimate by 51 after he and Shadab Khan rescued Pakistan of 52-5 in the tenth.

Jimmy Neesham, who eliminated Salman and Shadab, was the most successful New Zealand bowling player with 5-22.

New Zealand, with an unbeatable advantage of 3-1 in the series, needs 129 to win. After another poor beginning of Pakistan, Salman and Shadab shared a 54 -run position for the sixth wickt.

Shadab was trapped behind Neesham by 28.B Pakistan again had problems with the higher order.

Jacob Duffy claimed the first wickt in the second when he eliminated Hasan Nawaz for his third duck in the series.
