Rashid terrorist financing case
Rashid, an independent deputy of Baramulla Who defeated Omar Abdullah in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, faces a trial under the illegal activities (prevention) (UAPA) law in a case of terrorist financing of 2017. He was arrested by the child in 2019 and has been housed in the Delhi Tihar prison since then.
