A meeting between security forces and alleged terrorists burst in Jammu and Kashmir Katua district Sunday night during a search operation launched by security personnel in Town of Sanyallocated near the international border in the Hiranagar sector.
The operation began after credible intelligence with respect to the presence of armed militants in the area.
The authorities reported that the security forces saw three to five terrorists during their operation, which caused an immediate response that led to a fierce shots exchange.
As the situation was developed, reinforcements were sent to support the initial team involved in the match.
