New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to the nation on the occasion of Holi.
In a publication on social networks about X, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the role of the festival to unite people and strengthen the ties of harmony.
“I wish everyone a very happy Holi. This festival full of joy and happiness will infuse a new enthusiasm and energy in everyone’s life and will also deepen the colors of unity among compatriots,” said Prime Minister Modi.
President Draupadi Murmu also greeted the nation and urged compatriots to fill everyone’s life with the colors of continuous progress, prosperity and happiness.
“The most sincere greetings to all countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the Festival of Colors. This Festival of AlegrÃa gives the message of unity, love and harmony,” Murmu said.
“This festival is also a symbol of the precious cultural heritage of India. Come, this time auspicious, we all commit to filling the life of all the children of the Indian mother with the colors of continuous progress, prosperity and happiness,” he added.
The Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, also extended his wishes and prayed so that the Colors Festival brings greater prosperity, progress and wealth in everyone’s life.
“The most sincere greetings to all compatriots of the Festival of Joy, Enthusiasm and Colors, Holi,” Shah said.
“That this colored festival bring greater prosperity, progress and wealth in all of you,” he added.
The deputy of the Congress and the opposition leader in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also extended his wishes on the occasion of Holi and shared a position on his official mango ‘X’.
