Nueva Delhi: Before the deadline of March 2026 established by Interior Minister, Amit Shah, to eliminate the extremism of the left, Chhattisgarh has presented a comprehensive policy for the delivery of the Maoists, as well as their relief and rehabilitation, and also that of the victims of naxal violence and civilians who help the police counteract the threat.

Turning in a light machine gun (LMG) can get the MAOIST RS 5 Lakh, from RS 4.5 Lakh; an AK-47, RS 4 Lakh instead of RS 3 Lakh; and a .303 rifle, RS 1.5 Lakh instead of RS 1 Lakh. RS 3 Lakh-12 Lakh reward are proposed for new ranges of Maoists, including the commander of the Zonal/Sub-Zonal Committee, commander of the Militias Company and Commander of the Communication Team, etc.
For the rehabilitation of the maoists delivered and the members of their family, the policy, which also covers Maoists from outside the State, but participates in LWE activities within Chhattisgarh, offers free education, admissions based on quota, as well as scholarships, in addition to an annual subsidy of up to 25,000 ines for 25,000 in private institutions.
The policy proposes jobs and job opportunities on its own, as well as the preference in government schemes. The male maoists subjected to reverse vasectomy will be reimbursed under politics. Maoists who help the police will also be eligible for government work.
