The Google Wallet digital wallet application was available in Pakistan on Wednesday, according to a statement issued by the technological giant.

“The Pakistan Digital Payment panorama is quickly evolving, and with more people who adopt digital transactions, Google Wallet offers a safe, perfect and efficient way to make payments, stores and trips,” said Farhan Qureshi, Google Pakistan country director.
“It will allow the Pakistans to take advantage of stores, visit without online problems and easily access their boarding passes when they travel,” he added.
“Google Wallet helps keep everything protected in one place, no matter where they are going. More importantly, this launch will contribute largely to support financial inclusion in Pakistan and unlock economic opportunities for all, ”Qureshi continued.
“This milestone also ceases Google’s unwavering commitment with Pakistan, reinforcing our belief in its future and digital potential.”
As of today, Bank Alfalah, Bank of Punjab, Faysal Bank Noor, HBL, Jazzash, Meezan Bank and UBL card holders will be able to add their cards to Google Wallet and pay with their Android phones or use OS devices, where non -contact payments are accepted.
In addition, Allied Bank card holders, Easypa Digital Bank, JS Bank and Zindigi will be able to add their cards to Google Wallet soon. Google Wallet’s payment cards can be used to pay online or in the application in merchants.
The statement said that online merchants such as Onic, Gul Ahmed, Sana Safinaz, J. and Ke will also be available with the integration of PayFast with Google Pay.
In addition to storing and accessing payment cards, users can add boarding passes from Batik Air and Thai Airways to Google Wallet. With the boarding passes on Google Wallet, travelers will be notified of the changes in the exit time and the changes in the door to guarantee an experience without problems at the airport.
