Nueva Delhi: After the deadly attack on the Jaffar Express in Baluchistan, the former Director of Police of Jammu and Kashmir (DGP) SP VAID has affirmed that the Government and the military of Pakistan have lost control over the region.
“The Army and the Pakistan government have no control over Baluchistan. In such a situation, it is not surprising that all this is happening. Pakistan is about to break,” he said.
In addition, he pointed out that only a few days ago, several militant organizations in Baluchistan and Sindh united forces to challenge Pakistani government’s sovereignty and army. “I will not be surprised if Pakistan is divided into four pieces,” he added.
Speaking about the ongoing insurgency, Vaid elaborated how the member of the Pakistan Senate, Mauna Fazlur Rehman, had previously admitted that six to seven districts in Baluchistan were completely under the control of terrorists.
Echoing similar concerns, the retired Indian Army officer, Major General GD Bakshi, said Baluchistan had left Pakistan’s control, exposing the weakness of his military. He described the train attack as an important development that revealed deeply rooted instability.

Bakshi also suggested that the Baloch insurgency He had reached a turning point, with militant groups openly challenging the State. “I think the time has come for the birth of Baluchistan,” he said, warning that Pakistan’s army can resort to drastic measures to divert the attention of his failures.
“We have to remain careful at our borders because Pak’s army can do anything to change the focus,” he added.
Jaffar Express kidnapped
The crisis in Baluchistan intensified on Tuesday when the Baloch Liberation Army (Bla) derailed the Jaffar Express in Bolan, attacking the train and taking the 100 passengers as hostages. The group claimed to have killed 20 Pakistani soldiers and even knocked down a military drone.
According to a statement from Bla, “among the hostages are active service personnel of the Pakistani army, the police, the anti -terrorism force (ATF) and the intelligence between services (ISI), all of which traveled to Punjab with license.
