Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the President of MauricioDharam Gokhool, on Tuesday and presented it with Maha Kumbh gangajal. Modi, who arrived in Mauricio at dawn on Tuesday for a two -day state visit, also gave Gokhool several other gifts.
Before meeting with President Gokhool, Modi met Mauricio Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam. Both leaders planted a offspring in Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanic Garden.

According to a video posted on the YouTube channel of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he gave several gifts to President Gokhool, including Maha Kumbh Gangajal.

Maha Kumbh Mela took place from January 13 to February 26 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The devotees gave a sacred hall in Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers are located.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his counterpart Navincandra Ramgoolam also placed a crown in the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam botanical garden. The prime minister placed a crown in the concrete ‘Samadhi’ of Sir Seewoosaagur Ramgoolam, Mauricio’s founding father.

Previously, Modi was received at the airport upon arrival. This is the first visit of the PM Modi to Mauricio since 2015.
Mauricio’s prime minister, Ramgoolam, and other leaders gave a ceremonial welcome, said spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaiswal.
“This shows the strong relationship of India and Mauricio,” Jaiswal published in X.
After paying tribute to Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, Modi met with the president and will attend state lunch, said Jaiswal.
