According to Flightradar24.com, the Boeing 777-337 ER plane returned to the Chicago Ord Airport after being in the air for more than ten hours.
The Boeing 777-300 ER plane, which accommodates more than 340 passengers in commercial and economic classes, is equipped with 10 bathrooms, including two designated for first-class travelers, according to PTI sources.
The source also revealed that only a toilet remained operational.
“When landing in Chicago, all passengers and the crew land normally and have received accommodation to minimize the inconveniences. Alternative arrangements are being made to fly to passengers to their destination,” said the spokesman in a statement.
The airline confirmed that passengers were offered complete reimbursements for free cancellations and reprogramming options if they chose to use them.
