Nueva Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Thursday that he does not want to see any season as out of the Uttarakhand, while pressing for the ‘Barahmasi’ tourism in the state, marking a bicycle and a walking rally.
Previously during the day, Prime Minister Modi visited Mukhwa-Harsil of Uttarakhand in the district of Uttarkashi and offered prayers in the Mukhimath temple, the ‘Winter abode of the goddess Ganga’.

When addressing the meeting at Uttarakhand, the prime minister said: “The tourism sector must diversify and we need to do it ‘Barahmasi’, 365 days. This is very important for Uttarakhand. I want no season to be out of season in Uttarakhand. Even during the low season, tourism should be ongoing (in Uttarakhand).”

He also expressed condolences about the Avalacha de Uttarakhandwhere 8 people lost their lives.
The prime minister recognized the unity of the nation during this difficult time, which provided an immense force to the families of the victims.
“I express my condolence for the unfortunate incident that happened in Mana a few days ago and the people who lost their lives … During this difficult situation, demonstrated the country of unity, gave a lot of strength to the victim’s families,” said Prime Minister Modi.
The prime minister arrived at Jolly Grant airport in Uttarakhand, where he was received by Prime Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other dignitaries.

He also explored the winter tourism exhibition of local artists in Mukhwa, admiring his cultural wealth and his picturesque charm.

Local artists were seen playing popular dances to welcome the prime minister. In the video, PM Modi, dressed in a whitish Kurfa pajamas with a black jacket and a uttarakhandi hat, was seen standing in the center and the artists acting, making a circle around him.

In addition to offering sentences, the prime minister also pointed out a walking and bicycle rally in Harsil.

This year, the Uttarakhand government launched a winter tourism program aimed at promoting religious tourism and supporting the local economy, including house houses and companies.

The visit occurs just one day after the Cabinet Economic Affairs Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Modi, approved two main rope projects for Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib, with a combined investment of more than 6,000 million rupees.
Mukhwa, located along the route to the Gangotri temple, serves as the winter seat of the Ganga goddess. Every year, the idol is relocated to Gangotri Dham to the Mukhwa temple after the temple portals close for the winter season.
