New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently opened and toured Vantarato Wildlife rescuerehabilitation and conservation installation in Gujarat.
The center houses more than 2,000 species and more than 1.5 Lakh rescued, endangered and threatened animals. The prime minister examined several facilities and was directly involved with rehabilitated animals during his visit.

At the Valentara Wildlife Hospital, Prime Minister Modi observed advanced veterinary facilities, including magnetic resonance, computed tomography and ICU, together with specialized departments such as wildlife anesthesia, cardiology, nephrology, endoscopy, dentistry and internal medicine.
During his visit, the prime minister interacted and fed several puppies, including Asian lions, a white lion, a weird cloudy leopard and a caracal.

The white lion puppy fed by Prime Minister Modi was born in Vantara after his rescued mother was taken to the center.
In the Magnetic Resonance Room of the Hospital, he witnessed an Asian Leon scan and visited the theater operation where surgeons treated a leopard injured in a road accident.
The center maintains environments that replicate natural habitats for rescued animals. Its conservation programs focus on species such as the Asian lion, the snow leopard and the rhino as a horns.

The prime minister had nearby meetings with several predators, including a golden tiger, four snow tigers rescued from a circus, a white lion and a snow leopard.
He interacted with several animals: caressing an okapi, meeting with free roaming chimpanzees, hugging the orangutans, observing an underwater hippo, see crocodiles, walking between the zebras and feeding a giraffe and a calf of orphan rinistro.
His visit included seeing a great python, a two -headed snake, a two -headed turtle, tapir, rescued leopard puppies, giant otter, bongo antique and seals.
He also visited the world’s largest elephant hospital. The prime minister also committed to the medical team, the support staff and the workers who manage the facilities of the center.
