DMK ally claims ‘Muslim threat’ behind Y-security to actor Vijay, TVK hits back | India News

Chennai: A controversy broke out in Tamil Nadu on the center that provides category security and the actor and founder of TVK Vijay, after VCK VCK Vick Vankaz said that TVK looked for the security cover when they feared the actor faced threats from Muslims.
TVK and Ally Tamil Nadu Muslim League, refuted the charges, saying that it was a ploy of DMK and its allies to alienate TVK Muslims.
“Vijay showed Muslims with poor light in their ‘Kathi’ and ‘Beast’ films. Then, Vijay and TVK felt that the actor could face threats from Muslims and sought protection against the Ministry of Household,” Vanniarasu told Toi. When asked if he had the copy of the letter presented by TVK in search of protection, Vanniarasu said he did not have it, but the information was of a reliable source in the police department.
The joint secretary of the TVK propaganda wing, I Thahira, condemned Vanniarasu and said: “Muslims received many key publications on TVK. Our leader (Vijay) is against Caa and is supporting Muslims. Vanniarasu has insulted Muslims by indicating that they intend to damage politicians in the state.”
The founding president of TNML, VMS Mustafa, also ruined the claims of Vanniarasu. “This is a planned DMK campaign and its allies to portray Vijay as the enemy of Muslims and divert all Muslim support to the DMK alliance,” he said.
“Vijay or TVK did not present any letter,” Thahira added.
