New Delhi: Delhi’s Patiala house court allowed Delhi police to withdraw a Sedition case against former student activist at Jawaharlal Nehru Shehla Rashid In relation to its tweets about the Indian army in 2019.
The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Anuj Kumar Singh, on February 27 approved the request presented by the Delhi Police, and pointed out that Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, VK Saxena, who previously granted the sanction to process Rashid, has now retired.
