New Delhi: The center has planned to modernize the entrance of the National Zoological Park (Delhi Zoo) building a multi-utility square at his entrance door along Mathura Road.
The entrance place will be equipped with facilities such as food court, layer room, infrastructure related to safety, queue management area, memories store, visiting center and parking area.
“The modernization of the entrance square of the Delhi Zoo is part of a larger development plan, keeping the site requirements, the profile of visitors, water availability and electricity, vegetation, conditions, conditions climatic and resources available with management, “said an official at the Ministry of the Environment.
The Ministry has already issued a document with detailed information for the modernization of the entrance square that will have a minimum zocalo area of 9,000 square meters and an area of development of 35,000 square meters in Mathura Road. According to information for the consulting service for the modernization of the entrance square, the food court inside the square will have an area of 2,000 square meters. The square will also have an area of 11,000 square meters for landscaping and future expansion.
