Ghaziabad: a law student was arrested in relation to the celebration shot That led to the death of a two -year -old boy who saw a wedding procession in the city last week.
Another of the boyfriend’s friends, Hitesh aka Happy Singh, is a second -year -old student who lives in Phase 3 of Gurgaon DLF.
He is the second person to be trapped in relation to the fatal trigger incident. His friend Deepanshu, a lawyer who practices in the district court of Gurgaon, was arrested on February 19.
Deepanshu and Happy, police said, were perched on the main buggy carried by the boyfriend and shot in the air while the wedding procession made its way through the Agrahapur village in Sector 41 of Noida.
The boy who died, Ansh, was beaten by one of the bullets fired in the air while watching Baraat from the balcony on the third floor of his house overlooking the road in Theeke Wali Gali. The child was urgently taken to the Prayag hospital, about 2 km away, but bleed up to death.
The additional DCP (noida) Summit Kumar Shukla said that Happy was arrested from Noida and wore an illegal gun, one that was apparently used by him during the wedding procession.
Three police teams had been doing searches in Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida and other possible hiding places for Happy, who managed to evade the arrest for almost 7 days. “Happy continued to change his location constantly. He also turned off his mobile phone. A probe to determine if the bullet, which had drilled the child’s head, was fired by Deepanshu or happy,” Shukla said. The guns recovered from the two men have been sent for forensic analysis.
Deepanshu had previously said to the police who did not remember most of the details of the night of February 16, since he was drunk at that time, but said he had bought a weapon to “commemorate” his friend’s wedding and boast it as a Sample of power.
Ansh’s father, Vikas Sharma, told Toi that he had changed to Noida just 35 days before Sambhal’s incident in the hope of giving his two children a better life.
