PTI goes to court against restrictions on meeting Imran – Pakistan

Islamabad/Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, President Junaid Akbar presented a petition in the Superior Court of Islamabad (IHC) on Friday that he was looking for permission to bring together former prime minister and founder of the party, Imran Khan .

Speaking to the media after presenting the petition, Mr. Akbar, who also serves as president of the Public Accounts Committee, accused the government of violating the prison manual by denying meetings with the former prime minister. He warned about the increase in provincial intolerance and the growing tensions between state institutions and the founding president of PTI.

Mr. Akbar emphasized that sacrifices were being made for the supremacy of the Constitution and the Law. game.

In political developments, Mr. Akbar revealed that PTI was considering negotiations with Mauna Fazlur Rehman, with the responsibility of the conversations that will be assigned in consultation with Imran Khan.

He clarified that KP’s government spokesman Barrimer Muhammad Ali Saif remained part of the government, while Muhammad Ali Durrani had no association with PTI.

Punjab Govt denies restrictions

Meanwhile, the Punjab government said Friday that no restrictions were imposed on meetings with Imran Khan.

“The family, the legal team and the leaders of the party of the founder of PTI continue to know him routinely,” said Punjab Minister of Information, Bokhari Azma, in a statement.

She criticized PTI’s demands, saying: “They deal with jail as a amusement park, waiting for access without restrictions for anyone at any time.”

He added: “When the PTI runs out of strategies, it resorts to play the victim letter. Writing letters has not secured it and will not secure it [Imran Khan] Any offer. “Mrs. Bokhari regretted that the party write letters on the one hand, but launches propaganda campaigns on the other.

When commenting on PTI’s protest in London during the visit of the Army Chief, he said: “Around 50 PTI supporters protested the visit of the Army Chief, aligning with the agendas of foreign agencies. Despite stating that representing the Pakistani abroad, each call made by PTI has been decisively rejected by them. ”

Meanwhile, Barríster Saif requested the immediate elimination of the restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan, describing them as evidence of the Government’s panic.

He said that the purpose of these restrictions and other hard measures was to press Khan to make an agreement. However, he said that the founder of PTI, “unlike Nawaz Sharif”, would not become part of such agreement.

Barríster Saif said that by imposing this prohibition, the government not only violated fundamental human rights but also committing contempt to the Court.

He said that the founder of PTI had left the “illegitimate government” in a state of riots, depriving of peace.

The party has also repeatedly insisted that Khan would not reach any agreement for his release from jail.

Earlier this week, the central leader of PTI and former president of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, insisted on a meeting in Swabi that the founding president of the party would never reach an agreement under any circumstances and continue his fight for the “supremacy of the Constitution “.
