After the arrival of the new eight judges of the Supreme Court, CJP Afridi had restructured on Monday several committees that had been constituted to distribute different responsibilities among the judges of the Superior Court.

The process of the appointment of the new judges was full of controversy, since the four judges of the Apex court had urged CJP Afridi earlier this month to retweate the new appointments until the challenges to the 26th amendment were resolved Constitutional, in particular, pointing out the possibility of a public perception of the generation of the court that is generated. The PTI had also previously urged CJP Aphridi to postpone the process.

However, defending the judicial appointments, the CJP Aphridi had rejected the accusations of packing of the Court, arguing that the SC judges now listened between 30 and 40 cases a day, significantly more than the previous workload of 12 cases per day.

“The judges of the Supreme Court repeatedly write that first the [petitions against] The 26th amendment must be decided and until then will not make any court packaging. We used this word of the Court of the Court that this is happening that the next generations will suffer the results of this, that’s why we said first, please order your home. “

Khosa referred to the representation and request of five judges of the Superior Court of Islamabad on the row of seniority in the Superior Court and asked the CJP to pay due attention to the matter.

“People are waiting for injustice. A regime based on heresy and disbelief could continue, but one based on injustice cannot. “
