Dehradun: two more judges Central Administrative Court (CAT) – Harivender Kaur Oberi and B Anand – have retired from listening Sanjiv Chaturvedi. This brings the total number of judicial challenges In their cases to 13, that legal eagles say it is a kind of registration.
Until now, two SC judges, two HC judges of Uttarakhand, the president of Cats, a judge of the Court of First Instance of Shimla and seven Judges of cats of Delhi and Allahabad Benchas have refrained from judging the matters of Chaturvedi. In his last request on February 19, the Bank of Judges of Cat of Judges Oberoi and Anand ordered the registry not to list their cases without providing specific reasoning. Chaturvedi’s lawyer, Sudershan Goel, said the case belonged to his evaluation report.
In February 2024, an HC judge from Uttarakhand had retired from hearing the case of Diputación de Chaturvedi. In 2007, Chaturvedi entered the center of attention after exposing the scams in the Haryana forest. He faced 12 transfers in five years. When he was suspended, he filed a lawsuit before the president, after which Haryana Govt revoked the order. Called as ‘complainant’ in 2012, he also received the Ramon Magsaysay Award.
