The remains of an airplane that disappeared in Alaska were found, American officials said on Friday, with the 10 people on board that he believes he has died.
The United States Coast Guard said he had discovered the remains of the Bering Air caravan about 55 kilometers from Nome.
“Three people were found inside and it was reported that he had died,” the Coast Guard published on social networks.
“It is believed that the remaining seven people are inside the plane, but they are currently inaccessible due to the condition of the plane.”
The Nome Volunteer Fire Department, who had scrambled in the search for the plane, said on Facebook that he was helping with recovery.
