American woman Onijah Robinson bids Pakistan adieu, boards plane for New York: police – Pakistan

The American citizen Onijah Andrew Robinson finally left Pakistan on Friday and approached a flight to New York City, according to the police, ending his three -month stay in the country.

Robinson, 33, arrived in Karachi on October 11 of last year to marry Nidal Ahmed Memon, 19, whom he met online. Memon then abandoned her, citing family objections, and now not traceable, according to Arab news. When refusing to return home, almost 30 hours passed away from his apartment before moving to a Chhipa shelter and then be admitted in the psychiatric room at the Jinnah postgraduate medical center (JPMC).

“He went to the airport from JPMC,” said the deputy inspector of the South Police, Syed Asad Raza Dawn.com. He added that the United States Government provided him with his ticket that listed the departure of his transit flight to Dubai during the 10:40 pm.

According to his high JPMC certificate, he was diagnosed with a bipolar affective disorder and was admitted to the hospital on Saturday.

His case caught the attention after the founder of the Jofriya Disaster Management Cellular Welfare Organization, founder Zaffar Abbas, highlighted it on social networks. The governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, later intervened to extend his expired visa and organize his return to the United States. However, she had refused to cooperate.

Subsequently, Karachi’s police had decided to approach the Federal Government through the Sindh government to deport it. A letter was written to the Karachi Police Chief to approach the Sindh government to seek guidance from the federal government in this regard.
