On Tuesday seven bodies were found with bullets in the Ziarat district of Baluchistan, authorities said.
Ziarat’s deputy commissioner Zakiullah said Dawn.com“On Tuesday morning, the district administration received information about seven bodies that were abandoned in Gonja Tangi, Ziarat, after which the assistant commissioner was sent to the scene along with ambulances.”
However, in Chautir, near the site of the incident, residents had blocked the road in protest.
“They said that those who were killed did not belong to Chautir or Ziarat, nor had they been seen in the area before, and that they were terrorists,” said DC Zakiullah.
The residents expressed concern that, according to this claim, an operation would be launched in the area, said DC Zakiullah.
“After successful negotiations with the residents of the area, the district administration took the custody of the bodies, which were then delivered to the Ziarat of the Hospital of the District headquarters (DHQ),” said the DC.
He added that the Department of Contracerroism (CTD) and the Local Police in Ziarat had also been contacted.
“They said they also did not know the incident,” said DC Zakiullah.
He added that after being transferred to DHQ, the bodies could not be identified because all the murdered seemed to be non -local, which were transferred to Quetta to obtain more necessary actions.
In August of last year, the bodies with bullets of five people were found hanging from an electric post in the city of Dalbandin, Baluchistan.
