The security forces killed six terrorists in two separate commitments in the districts of Waziristan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the army media wing said Monday.
According to public relations between services (ISPR), intelligence -based operations (IBO) were carried out on Sunday and today, with one in the general area of Razmak in the Northern Waziristan district.
The ISPR said the troops effectively hired terrorists in their location during the operation because five “were sent to hell.”
In another Ibo in the South Waziristan district, the ISPR said that the security forces “effectively neutralized” the leader of Timbres Zabiullah aka Zakran, who actively participated in numerous terrorist activities against security forces, as well as in the murder of innocent civilians, and the agencies of application of the highly desired law.
The ISPR added that disinfecting operations were being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the areas. “Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism from the country,” the statement said.
Pakistan has witnessed an increase in terrorist activities during the past year, especially in KP and Baluchistan, after the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) outlaw (TTP) ended its high fire with the government in November 2022.
Faced with the growing attacks of militants, especially in KP and Baluchistan, security forces have also intensified anti -terrorist operations.

Previously, the authorities said at least 11 terrorists were killed and several other injured after the police carried out separate operations in the Mianwali Makarwal area of Punjab and Waziristan del Sur.
According to a statement issued by the Police today, the Mianwali Police and the Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a successful joint operation against terrorists in Makarwal, killing at least 10 of them and hurting several others.
“A resident of the area was also injured in the operation due to the dismissal of the terrorists and, consequently, was transferred to the hospital to receive treatment,” said the statement.
“The operation against the terrorists was carried out under the supervision of the Regional Police officer Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan and the police officer of the Mianwali district (DPO) Akhtar Farooq,” he added.
He continued that Dpo Farooq, other police officers, CTD officers and department staff “remained completely unharmed.”
By citing the Punjab Police Inspector (IGP), Dr. Usman Anwar, the statement said that the provincial police chief congratulated Mianwali’s police for his “brilliant success against terrorists.”
“The Punjab police are on alert … Terrorist’s disastrous plans will be crushed for dust,” said Punjab police chief.
In a separate statement, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the Punjab and CTD police for killing terrorists, stating that the law enforcement agencies “achieved great success by bringing terrorists to an exemplary end.”
“I am proud of the courage of the brave soldiers who frustrated the dire intentions” of the terrorists, Naqvi said.
“I congratulate the entire police and CTD team for killing more than 10 terrorists,” he added.
According to a statement on a separate incident issued by the KP IGP office, “the unidentified terrorists attacked the house officer (sho) of the Azam Warsak Police Station and a team of police in the Kalosha area.”
“The sho and police team were in polio service,” he added.
The statement said that “a terrorist was killed in a fire exchange” that lasted about 30 minutes. He continued that the remaining terrorists fled the scene.
The authorities recovered a submachine gun, a rocket launcher and two motorcycles of the assailants.
According to the statement, the murdered terrorist was identified as “AFNAN, who wore two identity cards, three ATM cards and a smartphone.”
He added that one of the recovered letters belonged to the terrorist, but the other belonged to a police officer, who was martyred in an attack before Eidul Fitr. The agent’s case had been registered at the CTD police station in South Waziristan.
“Additional personnel and armored personnel have been sent to investigate the area and protect polio equipment,” reads the statement.
“KP IGP Zulfiqar Hameed congratulated the police team and announced a reward,” he concluded.
Militant violence and security operations intensified in the country in March, with the number of militant attacks that exceed 100 for the first time since November 2014, according to a report by the Institute of Conflict Studies and Security of Pakistan.
