Police said Tuesday that they had arrested four suspects involved in an alleged group violation of a minor with care mentally in Lahore earlier this month.
According to a first information report recorded today, a copy is available with Dawn.comThe 14 -year -old victim was taken to a bath of a mosque on May 9, where the four suspects supposedly violated her.
“They threatened the girl with mental disabilities, telling her that if she told someone about the incident, they would kill her,” said the FIR, adding that the suspects then dropped the girl out of her home.
According to the plaintiff, the girl was upset and scared from the incident, and finally tells her parents a day.
In a publication on social networks, the Punjab police said that measures were taken on the complaint and that the four suspects were arrested for police custody.
Separately, Punjab Attorney General Syed Farhad Ali Shah realized the incident and summoned the investigating officer on May 22 together with the Registry.
The provincial attorney general stated that the case was a “high profile”, stating that strict legal action against suspects will be taken.
“A special prosecution team will be deployed to track the case,” Shah said.
Despite the presence of laws against violation, with punishment for violation, whether it results in the death penalty or imprisonment between 10 and 25 years, cases continue to prevail in the country.

Last month, Punjab police arrested five suspects for their alleged participation in a child’s group violation in Muzaffarh.
In March, two suspects were arrested in relation to an alleged gang violation on the Faisalabad highway. In a separate case that month, the Punjab police also arrested three suspects to allegedly violate a woman in Lahore.
