3 injured as grenade explodes at scrap shop in KP’s Mardan: police – Pakistan

Three people were injured after a Granada exploded in a junk store in the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police said Tuesday.

Confirming these details to Dawn.comDistrict Police officer (DPO) Zahoor Babar Afridi said: “The police had collected evidence of the explosion site, and were further investigating the matter.”

According to a declaration by Mardan Rescue 1122, the injured have been identified as Abbas, 40, Saeed, 17, and Amrad, 24.

“The injured immediately received first aid and took a medical complex in Mardan,” the statement said.

Mardan Rescue 1122 spokesman Syed Abbas Shah said separately Dawn.com that “the injured are in stable conditions and most of the injuries are on their legs.”

Earlier this month, three people were injured in a Granada attack in the Hazarganji area of ​​Quetta in Baluchistan. The police said that unidentified motorcyclists threw a hand grenade in a private company in the Hazarganji area and quickly moved away.

In March, three police officers were also injured in a Granada attack against the Karachi Predy Police Station.
