The process was supervised by court and government officials, who documented and photographed the articles, revealing an opulent gold crown, an extensive collection of jewels and a sword with intricate recorded. The petitioner Narasimha Murthy told PTI that only jewelry and documents were delivered, while another 27 articles remained with Jayalithaa’s secretary since 1996.
On Friday, the Supreme Court rejected a plea of the legal heir of Jayalithaa that seeks the return of confiscated assets. A Judges Bank because Nagarathna and Safe Chandra Sharma ruled that, although the procedures decreased after his death, he did not mean that he was acquitted.
