Crombie stands per candidate who made questionable publications
In a scrum after the first debate of the campaign, Crombie said the party will not throw her candidate in the very disputed driving of Thunder Bay: Superior North, Brian Hamilton.
Only a few hours before, the PC circulated two press releases that highlight the 2014 social media publications in which Hamilton seemed to have trivialized accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior against former CBC presenter Jian Ghomeshi and American comedian Bill Cosby.
Crombie said the positions were “a long time ago” and that Hamilton apologized, and that he shares his passion to hire more family doctors and defeat Ford. Hamilton is currently a city councilor in Thunder Bay.
Thunder Bay: The NDP of the Superior North was sustained by the NDP in the last legislature, but it was a liberal driving for more than 20 years before that. It was a narrow three -way race between the NDP, the PCs and the liberals in 2022.
