NEW DELHI: Delhi court Wednesday convicted of the former deputy of Congress Sajjan Kumar in it 1984 disturbances case for killing two people from Saraswati Vihar Area in the national capital.
This case referred to the murder of Jaswant Singh and his son, Tarundeep Singh, in Saraswati Vihar on November 1, 1984. He looted and destroyed his property, set his house on fire and inflicted serious injuries to his relatives and relatives.
On November 1, 2023, the declaration of Sajjan Kumar was recorded, in which he had denied all the charges against him. The case initially began with a FIR at the Punjabi Bagh Police Station, but was then assumed by a special investigation team, formed by recommendation of the Justice GP Mathur committee, which finally presented a sheet of charges.
Sajjan Kumar currently meets life imprisonment in another case of anti-sikh disturbances in Delhi Cantt.
