18 soldiers martyred, 23 terrorists killed in Balochistan clearance operations: ISPR – Pakistan

Eighteen soldiers were martyred, and 23 terrorists were killed in various disinfection operations in Baluchistan in the last 24 hours, said the military affairs wing in a press release on Saturday.

Eleven militants were killed in an operation in the Haranai district on Friday, while another twelve died in the initial clash during the night in the Kalat district, according to public relations between services (ISPR).

The ISPR said at night between January 31 and February 1, the terrorists tried to establish road blocks in the general area of ​​Mangocher, Kalat district of Baluchistan.

He said that security forces and law enforcement agencies were immediately mobilized, “who successfully frustrated the evil design of terrorists and sent twelve terrorists to hell, ensuring the security and protection of the local population.”

In a follow -up statement, ISPR said in the context of the atrocious act of terrorism in the Kalat district, security forces are carrying out multiple Santization operations throughout the province.

On February 1, 2025, one of those operations was carried out in the district of Harnai, where “the troops themselves effectively hired terrorists as a result of which eleven terrorists were sent to hell. Multiple terrorist hiding places were also arrested. ”

“Until now, a total of 23 terrorists have been sent to hell in different operations in Baluchistan in the last 24 hours,” said the military.

“Disinfection operations will continue until the perpetrators and facilitators of the atrocious and cowardly act are taken before justice.”

He added that Pakistan’s security forces, “in the passage with the nation, are determined to eliminate the threat of Baluchistan and Pakistan terrorism.”

Two soldiers were also martyred and five terrorists were killed in a frustrated attack on a security control post in the district of Qila Abdullah de Baluchistan, said the military affairs wing earlier this week.

Terrorist attacks have increased since the prohibited militant group Tehreek-I-Taliban Pakistan broke a high-fire fragile agreement with the government.
