At least 11 soldiers were martyred and 78 wounded while defending Pakistan against the “unprovured and representable unpredible attacks of India” during the recent escalation among the neighbors, said the wing of the media of the hand in a statement on Tuesday.
The military confrontation between India and Pakistan occurred when the old blamed Islamabad for Pahalgam’s attack. On the night of May 6 to 7, New Delhi launched a series of air attacks on Pakistan under the flag of the Sindoor operation, which resulted in civilian casualties. According to public relations between services (ISPR), 40 civilians, including seven women and 15 children, were killed in Indian aggression, and another 121 suffered wounds.
Pakistan’s army martyrs include Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Lance Naik Ikramullah, Naik Waqar Khalid, Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar and Sepay Nisar, according to the statement.
The martyrs of the Pakistan Air Force include the leader of the Usman Yousuf Squad, the chief coach Aurengzeb, the senior coach Najeb, the body technician Faooq and the senior coach Mobashir.
“Pakistan’s armed forces set up a resolved response under the Marka–Haq banner, delivering precise and notch remuneration attacks through the Bunyanum Marsoos operation,” the ISPR said in his statement.
“His noble sacrifice of martyrs is a durable symbol of unwavering devotion, devotion and patriotism, forever recorded in the memory of the nation,” the statement said. “There is no ambiguity: any attempt to challenge Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity, never again, a quick and decisive spectrum will be fulfilled.”
When paying tribute to martyred civilians and military personnel, the ISPR offered sincere prayers for the recovery of the injured.
“There is no ambiguity: any attempt to challenge Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity, never again, will encounter a quick, complete and decisive spectrum response,” reads the statement by reaffirming that the nation “remains resolved before the aggression.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Yom-E-Marka–Haq will be observed every year on May 10 about the “magnificent success” of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. On Friday, May 16, 2025, it will be observed as one day to pay tribute to the Armed Forces for achieving a magnificent success in the defense front and leaning before God in thanks, he added.
