The winners will be able to choose one of the two ways to claim their half of the major prize: an annualized prize of $ 893.5 million or a global payment of $ 410.3 million. The annualized prize will come in 30 payments for a period of 29 years.
No additional details have been published, including the identities of the winners and where the tickets were sold.
The winning tickets with a nominal value of $ 2 million each, which coincided with five numbers, as well as the powerball number, were bought in Texas and Kansas, the association said.
The main prize grew as a result of non -winners since May 31. Saturday’s draw was for the second major prize in Powerball’s history, lottery officials said.
The only major prize that was worth more was the Jackpot Powerball of $ 2.04 billion won in California on November 7, 2022, they said.
